“An extremely well researched and well spoken tour guide. Was very patient in answering the questions from the group. The tour has its limitations as the palace does not permit guides to walk along. Better to be aware of that in case that is your expectation.”

“Our hotel was about 1 mile or so from the palace, but we were picked up and driven clear across town to a meeting point and then back again to the palace. With traffic it took 2 hours. Then since we were late we were rushed through the tour. Skipped the ride over the bridge to Asia since we were so late and with traffic at a crawl we thought it would be several more hours before we would get back. Our tour guide was good and did his best in the bad situation.”

Web site pictures includes Ataturk’s bedroom where bed la covered with the Turkish flag but we DID NOT visit that room. Because it’s guided tour, we were expecting explanations inside the palace but we have just walked thru the palace without any explanation. We have visited 3 mosques which are not stated at web site but we have liked it, our guide explained those mosques very well.”

“This was a very unorganized tour. They advertise this as an approximate 4 hour tour, but in actuality, our tour was seven hours long with a lot of wasted time waiting around and an unexpected and unannounced 30 minute stop at a town that had nothing to do or no historical significance or reason to stop and visit. The morning of our pick up was pouring rain and they sent a message to be ready at a specif time to meet the driver for the pick up which included a five minute walk to the pick up point. We arrived five minutes early and headed with the escort to the…”

“El Palacio Dolmabahçe, sin lugar a dudas, es uno de los clásicos que no puede faltar en el viaje a Estambul. Vale la pena visitarlo, sacarse una foto en "La Puerta al Cielo" y tomarse una cafecito en la cafetería del jardín. La modalidad del E-pass fue estupenda, y poder saltarse la cola en temporada alta es super recomendable. Obtener el audio-guía fue super sencillo si contabas con tu ID/DNI/Pasaporte.”

We booked the half day tour in Istanbul, first at the Dolmabache Palace, and then the Bazaar. Ahmet was wonderful and very knowledgeable about almost all the questions we could possibly ask him. It showed that he had a sound interest in satisfying our curiosity at every turn. We enjoyed his company, and it is clear that he enjoys what he does. He was very apt at explaining everything from historical facts, to the parallels of everyday…”
