2 days of Cappadocia highlights from Istanbul, with flights, boutique cave-style hotel, guided stops, and an optional hot air balloon.

“Yes you can explore on your own and yes you can explore with a larger group and pay far less but I would highly recommend a private guide. This tour was excellent and the hotel included was very well located and nice. Omer out guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the region and the geology that shaped it but also answered out questions about life in Turkey in general. Our only critique is that the lunch stop for the first day was a disappointment (one of those big places set up to accommodate large bus groups) and we would have preferred a more intimate/authentic option.”

2 days Cappadocia from Istanbul with cave hotel, UNESCO guided sights, flights and transfers. Optional hot air balloon.

“Very professional company with excellent pre and post tour communications - This was really appreciated as IST can be quite hectic and the communication on WhatsAPP was very reassuring. The pick up was perfectly on time (way too early for me, but is what it is!) and upon arrival to Keysari airport I was picked up promptly and dropped at a tour office to wait 30 mins. Then went to pick up at a few hotels before the tour started. This is common consolidation on tours so expect to not start the tour immediately. The tour itself hit the sites and was interesting. The guide unfortunately spoke way too fast…”

Our guide Mustafa is the best, very patient, knowledgeable and he was very attentive to all details. He took us to amazing spots to see and take pictures. The last restaurant was superb! Hanimeli it’s called. We will be back one day for the balloons! Thank you Mustafa for making our trip memorable. Viator is always on top of things, kept us very informed the whole time.”

Fly to Kayseri for a tight 2-day Cappadocia whirlwind with underground Christian tunnels, Göreme UNESCO, and an optional sunrise balloon.

“Enjoyable tour. There were a lot of different sights to see, although to be honest, after a while the landscape becomes a bit monotonous and one cave looks much like the other. We really enjoyed the underground cave city, but our guide didn't spend long there as there were many other tour groups - this felt a bit rushed to us, and we would have liked longer there. There was a lot of repetitive information about the area, and it didn't feel like much was added after the first day. On the other hand, we really enjoyed the hot air balloon ride. This is definitely worth the extra cost and…”

“The tour operator was proactive in providing information on the tour. Airport transfers from hotel to airport and vice versa is excellent, punctual, with enough time to check-in for the flight. The tour operator booked us at a cave hotel, with nice view and near the city center. Red tour was well organized and respected the timings. Buffet lunch was nice and plenty. The hot balloon ride in the morning was great, and is a different great experience by itself, site flew more balloons compared to our balloon ride in Orlando, USA. The green tour is not as remarkable as the red tour, and did not respect the timing, as…”

“The guide’s knowledge was limited and at times frustrating. This was general consensus of group. Standard of accommodation was disappointing. After a big day in the heat would have been good to have shower facilities to freshen up for our 5hr wait for return flight. The garden courtyard was overgrown and toilet facilities near it hadn’t been cleaned for ages. Breakfast fine. Would have been good if they offered accommodation options. There were earlier flights available with Turkish Ailines but for some reason we were put on late flight with AJet.Flower balloon ride was fabulous. Would I recommend this tour through Viator, no I would not.”

“Besides the view on the balloon being spectacular. The whole experience was a mess. What a waste of money this tour was. I booked early and my cave hotel was terrible. Peak summer and no air conditioner in the room. Actually there was no one at the hotel at all. They didn’t even provide lunch or dinner. And breakfast was cold cuts and one fried egg. I booked the best package with the premium hotel and it couldn’t be any worse. The camel ride was pathetic nothing like the pictures shown. The balloon ride was nearly cancelled as they couldn’t get the balloon up. They tried to blame the weather…”

“This tour was very well organized and we loved every part of it! Everything was seamless - transfers were on time, hotels chosen by the agency were great and the guides gave us very good tours that helped us understand better the culture around and sights we were visiting. I would recommend this tour and agency to anyone in need of a "fast" all-around Turkey by air trip that doesn't feel too stressy. One of the best things of this tour is that you sleep 2 nights in each hotel so it does not feel rushed or like you need to move on with your luggage every day. Can't comment…”
