Upon leaving the port, we turned the opposite way down the river away from the Blue Mosque and other historical sites. It turned out to be a relatively boring river, cruise, looking at mostly residential homes along the waterfront. while beautiful, we felt this was a waste of time, given our limited time in Istanbul.
